Kosciól Swietego Kryza is one of Warsaws most important churches. The impressive building was erected in baroque style at the end of the 17th century.
The role model was the Italian church called “St. Andrea Della Valle” in Rome.
Kosciól Swietego Kryza has a famous foundation stone layer. It was no less a figure than King Jan III Sobieski. The church possesses also Warsaws biggest organ, and the heart of the Polish composer Frederic Chopin. His body is buried in Paris.
