Cerkiew Swietego Marii Magdaleny Warsaw

Category: Church Warsaw – admin – 1:26 pm

Cerkiew Swietego Marii Magdaleny is the only big Russian Orthodox church of Warsaw. The church was built in 1869, and serves as a popular tourist destination. Especially those typical onion-domed towers, are true ecstasy and rapture for Warsaw travellers.

Cerkiew Swietego Marii Magdaleny is worth to see inside as well. Fancy carpets and walls of leaf gold characterize the world inside the holy building.

There is a worship service everday at 6:00pm. The visitor is able to experience impressive celebrations with liturgic chants and many candles. Cerkiew Swietego Marii Magdaleny is a very spiritual place in such moments.
