Kolumna Zygmunta Warsaw

Kolumna Zygmunta is Warsaws oldest secular monument. The column exists since 1644, and can be found on the castles square.

The meaning of the monument is the remembrance of Polands change of its capital from Krakow to Warsaw in 1596.

Kolumna Zygmunta has a height of 22 metres. Tourists like the monument as the starting point for their Warsaw explorations.
